Daytona Bike Week
Another beautiful day today, but it was a bit windy. Had the jacket on this morning, but by noon, I was in short sleeves and my vest.
I have been looking for the Heavens Saints Motorcycle Ministry tent, as I want to see Rev. Robert from Enterprise, Alabama. No one seems to know where it is. I have a friend in Marianna trying to get some info on it for me. Thanks Ralph.
Lynn Brooks was worn our before she got here from shoveling snow in N.C. last week. Today was her down day. Tomorrow she heads South with Leather and Lace till Saturday. Keep her and her health in your prayers. Gary and I put a new battery on her bike this morning.
If you did not know it, Gary and Lynn Brooks are our National Intercessors for Prophets of God Motorcycle Ministry. I am enjoying spending time with them.
Brenda, Gary, and I went to Beach Street just after noon. Went down to the Harley dealership and to the diner behind it for a burger. Then we went across the street and Gary bought a new pair of boots. It was a bit funny. His soul had come loose on one of his boots. He said it was about time, they were about 10 years old. The funny part was the thwack, thwack, thwack he made with every step.
We passed by one tent and Vinnie and Cody, who were previously on the OCC program were in it.
We then went out to the racetrack again, but this time with Gary. It was another rapid tour, as it was getting late, and cooler by the minute, and the wind had mobile signs all blown down on the site. I showed Gary the V-8 Choppers. He liked the sound also.
I did meet the national president of His Laboring Few at their tent this morning. Saw some CMA guys at the track. Guessing more ministries will be in town later in the week when the largest crowd is here.
We appreciate your prayers for safety and health. We appreciate the sunny weather also.
Over at Roar, they sold Angel today. It was a beautiful bike. Keep Kathy and Rodney in your prayers also. This is a pressing time for them at Bike Week with the business and church. They have both been sick with a virus or something this week, but they have to keep going.
Dan and Sharon Schaeffer, and Bear, Sharon, and Sky Brennan will be down Thursday through Sunday coming from Santa Rosa Beach. Traveling safety prayers for them.
Blessings,
Bubba <”//><
