Starting off 2010

Another year has flown by. It seems as though they, the years, are getting shorter and shorter. Maybe that is just how my old processing unit (brain) is working.

We got a new president. War and rumors of war continue. I know a lot of people who have been or are in Afghanistan and Iraq fighting to conquer our common enemy, Al-Qaida.

Finances seem to be a prevalent “thorn in the flesh” of the general populace. Churches and charitable organizations around the country have seen donations drop drastically. This includes Motorcycle Ministries of every kind.

The H1N1 pandemic never really panned out, thank God. The government is saying to take the vaccination, and some in the medical profession are refusing to take it and recommending against anyone taking it. Confusion seems to reign.

Fuel prices are still higher than we want them to be. They still fluctuate 10 to 20 cents on a regular basis, especially if a holiday is near.

Now we have people putting bombs in their underwear to try and blow airplanes from the sky. What is wrong with those people? Apparently, the god, the deity, the spirit, the manifestation of evil that they serve has no love for them. I am so glad the my God, Jehovah, is there for me every day, day in and day out. If you get to feeling like you want to blow yourself up and take a lot more people with you, please contact me or someone to “talk you down” and help you find the peace that only Jesus can bring to your soul. Those who do this seek to replace peace in our hearts with fear, dread, and panic.

Some of my friends over at Heavens Saints MM sent me a link for pictures and videos from their website. Look it up and check it out.

Looking to the near future, Daytona Bike Week will be upon us in no time, February 26th March 7th. If you plan to attend this internationally attended rally, you need to be making your plans now. Our friends at Daytona City Church and Roar Motorcycles for Women will be there for us again this year. This gives us a place to meet and pray prior to going out among the brotherhood of two wheels. There will also be a lot of 3 and 4 wheeled vehicles there. If you want to find someone to pray with, there is a never ending supply of people in need. We look for other ministries to pray for primarily, but when the opportunity to witness appears before us, we will witness to anyone. From media personalities to rock stars, from r.u.b.’s to 1 %’ers, the homeless and those addicted to drugs and alcohol. CMA has had an AA meeting in the past at their central meeting place.

If you are planning to attend, I would encourage you to talk to your pastor prior to heading to Daytona to get a group of Intercessors to pray for you before you leave and while you are gone. If you can, establish a way to contact them or for them to contact you with messages or sensing’s about what they get in their prayer time for you. They may steer you away from a certain area on a particular day, or have a specific prayer for your safety in a situation that God tells them about. If you have put God in a little box, it is way past time to let him out and let him work for you, as a personal witness and through others on your behalf. If you have been a biker for very long, you know what to expect.

If you are new to the lifestyle and the sport, you could be overwhelmed if you are not aware of what you may see or hear at these events. These events can be a lot of fun and will make you aware of what is happening in the industry. If you visit any of the fringe areas at night, travel with friends and you can encourage each other and can cover each other with prayer and personal support.

I was off for two weeks and have several hundred emails in my inbox. I had many prayer requests. In your local area, get to know others in various motorcycle clubs and ministries and get on their mailing lists. They will appreciate your prayer support and the occasional hospital visit when requested.

Blessings,

Bubba <”//><
