Fall is here, although in the panhandle of Florida, that can mean very little as far as cooler weather is concerned. Let me encourage you to check our new blog space at http://www.prophetsofgod.net You will be getting a short newsletter once a month to tell you to check the blog space, but the blog will be added to often. Please check it regularly. When this letter goes out we will have had the Thunder Beach Fall Rally in Panama City Beach, and Biketoberfest will be starting in Daytona Beach.. For those north of us, weather is starting to deteriorate, and the bikes are going into storage, and other vehicles are coming out. What vehicles will depend on how far north you are. October 21-24 Christian International was the 22nd annual International Gathering of the Apostles and Prophets. Hurricanes Hanna, Gustav, and Ike have past us by, thank you Jesus. I only know one person who has relatives affected by the storm, and that was in Orange, Texas. One house was fine, another had two trees on it, and unfortunately, the third home was destroyed. Seems like you don't hear much from the national media about the folks who lost everything in the floods earlier this year along the Mississippi River and all the rivers that feed it further north. The seem to have lost interest in them. I guess it is not sensational enough at this time. Katrina was still in the headlines, but now Ike will move into the top spot for attention. Continue to pray for all those who have lost everything, as well as friends and loved ones. Pray that peace will return to their thoughts. If they were in the worst of the storm's fury, they will remember it forever, and unless God helps them to recover, they will relive the terror for years to come.
Check http://cifamilychurch.org/podcasting.html for Apostle/Pastor Dr. Jane Hamon's message on 14 September. I have started a blog attached to the newsletter. I am trying to make the newsletter a bit shorter, but still want to get out what I am thinking about and what stirs my spirit. Check here http://wwwrophetsofgod.net for access. Almost every Thunder Beach Rally I see some of my brothers from Seed of Abraham MM http://soamc.org/alabama/ at the Frank Brown Park venue. They are a great bunch of guys to talk to. I cruised past their website the other day and I like what it said: Let us do our best not to become "inbred" in our outlook at other Motorcycle Ministries and secular groups. How I got the following report from Big Steve concerning a recent run they made: Big Steve and Melody Refitt
BIG Steve Prophets of God Daytona Beach Chapter President I got a prayer request forwarded to me for Gary and Vicky Wadding. Gary and Vicky head up the Southeastern evangelistic team for Another note from Big Steve after their 1% club visit: BUBBA PLEASE SEND THIS TO EVERYBODY, BIG Steve I was a little disappointed with Thunder Beach, in that there were not very many of the big motorcycle vendors there.
